Policy: Building Conduct
Promenade Mall welcomes you to the property.
To ensure we provide everyone with a safe and enjoyable environment, we ask that you take a moment to become familiar with our building's Conduct Policy. Any violation of this Policy may result in the offender being asked to leave the property immediately. Thank you for your cooperation.
Smoking/Vaping
We are pleased to offer a smoke-free environment in compliance with all Provincial Legislation and Municipal By-laws. Smoking or vaping is not permitted within 9 meters of the physical building or structure. This includes marijuana and associated products.
Vehicles
Leaving vehicles on the property outside of normal business hours is prohibited without prior approval from Property Management.
Audio & Video Equipment
Taking photos or video is not permitted without prior approval from Property Management. Please be advised surveillance equipment is on-site, and activities may be monitored. To allow us to better serve our guests, anonymous video analytics, traffic, and device count technologies are used in this property. To ensure your privacy, such technologies are used to collect aggregated data and do not record or store images that identify individuals.
Personal Electronic Devices
Personal entertainment and electronic devices may only be operated within accepted locations and volume levels.
WI-FI
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for guests throughout the shopping centre. Seating is available in designated areas. Please limit usage to 20 minutes during busy times. No loitering permitted.
Building Deliveries
All deliveries must be conducted through designated property loading areas only in a safe and reasonable manner. Delivery carts must be equipped with rubber wheels.
Restricted Areas
It is strictly prohibited to be in any restricted areas (such as back corridors or storage areas) without property management’s permission.
Registered Service Animals & Guide Dogs are Permitted
With the exception of service animals or guide dogs, pets are prohibited from entering the building.
Eating and Rest Areas
These areas are for the benefit of all patrons. Please refrain from over-extended use of the food court tables and patron seating areas.
Appropriate Attire
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Wearing clothing or other attire which may be considered objectionable, or constitute as a disguise and/or intended to conceal an individual's identity, is not permitted within the building or on the property.
Personal Mobility Devices
To ensure the safety of all patrons, all motorized wheelchairs, medical scooters, or personal mobility devices must be operated at a speed consistent with pedestrian traffic. Hoverboard or Segway-type devices are prohibited from use on the property.
Distributing Literature
Handing out printed literature and/or soliciting of any kind while on property is strictly prohibited, without the prior approval of property management.
Loitering
In the event of fire, other emergency, riot, civil commotion, or similar disturbance involving risk to the Shopping Centre, tenants or general public, unauthorized loitering or congregating in large groups that may impede others is prohibited. Property Management reserves the right to deny entrance to the property or remove any person or persons in any case where the conduct of such person involves a hazard or nuisance to any tenant or to the public.
Disruptive Behavior
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment; running, skateboarding, rollerblading, littering, horseplay, fighting, mischief, vandalism, unsafe use of elevating or escalating devices, protesting or congregating in large groups, unsafe bicycle operations, yelling or shouting, or the use of profane language, harassment and discrimination in any form is strictly prohibited on the property.
Caution
Floors slippery when wet.

Property Management reserves the right to amend and modify any of the above policies at any time. The Shopping Centre Management reserves the right to administer and enforce all above policies in accordance with the provisions of the Trespass to Property Act R.S.O 1990, c.T.21.
