    The honey Assistant Store Manager must have an understanding of the business of fashion and will assist the Store manager by providing leadership and sales and service excellence.  The assistant manager seeks ways to build relationships with customers and encourages associates to build clientele and increase sales.  In addition the assistant manager supports the store Manager in achieving retail sales, providing superior customer service, ensuring orderly and appealing merchandise presentation, training, motivating and communicating with staff and head office, maintaining housekeeping standards, upholding company policies and procedures, managing supplies and cash. The assistant manager sets a strong example to staff and supports the Store Manager.

    Job description
    • Must ensure that store achieves sales goals
    • Exhibit sales leadership
    • Follows up on accurate execution of store operations - inventory procedures, cash controls etc to    minimize store losses
    • Direct staff in manager's absence and assign duties
    • Assist in training  and motivating  all employees in sales, customer service and product knowledge
    • Ensure that honey image is demonstrated in merchandising and visuals as well as housekeeping standards
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Offer excellent customer service in order to build clientele and to help in loss prevention
    • Resolve problems that arise such as customer complaints and defer to Manager if necessary
    • Cultivate a team  environment that excites and welcomes the customer and encourages sales

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Effective communication, organization and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated sales ability
    • 2-3 years experience in retail fashion preferably in a clientele environment
    • Fashion/brand aware
    • High energy level - thrive in a fast paced atmosphere
    • Customer service oriented
    • Ability to solve problems and make good business decisions
    • Ability to build positive business relationships
    • Physical mobility to work for extended periods , standing, walking, handling merchandise and supplies
    • Able to maintain strong relationships with store and head office personnel, assisting customers and working as a team
